Buyers Agreement:

This contract is for Limited AKC/CKC Registration only. No breeding rights are given. The health guarantee is offered directly to the buyer from the breeder, and not Training Canines, LLC.

Breeder Agrees that:

Puppy has been properly cared for and checked by a reputable veterinarian.

The puppy has received its 6, 9, 12 week distemper/parvo immunizations and has had worming done at the recommended schedule of the veterinarian. The puppy has also been micro-chipped. Health records will be provided when you receive your puppy. If puppy has been in care for 15 weeks all additional required shots have been met.

Breeder is not responsible if puppy contracts a communicable disease after 72 hours leaving breeder’s possession.

Breeder offers a 2 year warranty against fatal and life altering congenital defects.

Breeder offers a 1 year hip/elbow guarantee, on a puppy found to have moderate or severely affected hips/elbows. The puppy hips must be certified by OFA, to determine hip/elbow dysplasia. The x-rays must also be submitted to the breeder for review by her veterinarian. Breeder reserves the right to have additional veterinarian or specialist confirm diagnosis. Breeder will cover charge if additional diagnosis is needed. If diagnosis is incorrect buyer will pay all fees breeder incurred.

Breeder does not guarantee color, temperament, training, championships, or adult size of puppy.

Buyer Agrees:

To have the puppy examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours to validate health of puppy. The owner shall return the puppy and any AKC/CKC paperwork to the breeder within three days of the examination. The breeder will replace the puppy or refund the original purchase price of the puppy provided the puppy is returned within three days. Sick does not include parasites such as worms, Coccidia, Giardia, fleas or mites, since these are common in dogs and puppies. Breeder assumes no responsibility for veterinarian or shipping fees.

Buyer agrees this contract shall be null and void for any of the following reasons:

Signs of abuse or neglect to the dog.

Allowing this dog to be used for breeding.

Failure to provide documentation showing that yearly vet exams and up-to-date vaccines have been maintained on this dog.

Spay or neuter after 12 months of age. No litters can be produced by this dog.

Buyer agrees this puppy will never be resold to a pet store, puppy mill, another individual, scientific study or business.

Buyer agrees this pup will never be surrendered to an animal shelter or animal rescue. If buyer is unable to keep the puppy for any reason, the breeder must be notified. The buyer will not receive a refund; however, if applicable the breeder agrees to help place the pup in a suitable home.

Buyer agrees to give appropriate veterinary care for the lifetime of the pup through yearly vet examinations, required vaccines, boosters and preventative health care. Failure to show verification of yearly vet exams and up-to-date vaccines voids the health guarantee.

Buyer agrees this puppy will only be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) or CKC whichever applies.

Buyer agrees no monies shall be returned if buyer decides for any reason that they do not want puppy/dog. Buyer will notify Breeder and return puppy with all AKC/CKC paperwork within 5 business days. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs.

Limitations of Health Guarantee

The health guarantee is for a replacement pup only and is not for a refund. There are no exceptions to this agreement. In the case that a congenital defect is found, as explained above, the buyer will notify the breeder and provide proper documentation from a licensed veterinarian to be verified by breeder’s veterinarian. The buyer will then be put on the list for a replacement pup of equal value from a future litter. This could take up to a year depending upon when the next litter would be born.

This contract is only valid between the original owner and breeder. It is nontransferable.

Breeder is not responsible for veterinarian bills, medications or training costs approved by the buyer.

Breeder is not responsible for any shipping or transportation costs.

This contract will be null and void for any of the following reasons:

Signs of abuse or neglect to the dog.

Allowing this dog to be used for breeding.

Failure to provide documentation showing that yearly vet exams and up-to-date vaccines have been maintained on this dog.

In the case of sudden demise of puppy, breeder must receive a written notice of puppy’s death from owner’s vet, along with a necropsy report indicating cause of death.

The value of the pet for the purpose of this guarantee is solely the original purchase price of the pet that Training Canines has paid the breeder. All health, and does not include any additional prices declared by the buyer, such as value of show dog, shipping or training fees.

This agreement shall be deemed consummated in the county of Iredell, North Carolina and shall be governed by the laws of the state of North Carolina. If for any reason litigations should occur, the venue shall lie in Statesville, North Carolina. Training Canines, LLC will not be responsible for any costs associated with this process.
