Before launching Training Canines, LLC, Kim was a professional chef for over twenty years. Operating her own business and working at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. As the economy turned sour, and her desire to “get out of the kitchen” it led her to pursue a long held passion of training dogs. Knowing this was definitely what she wanted to do, she did what it took to make it a reality. Managing kitchens, and catering events for over thousands of people, has given Kim sharp analytical and problem solving skills. These skills and abilities are the backdrop for Kim being such an effective dog trainer.
Kim lives in Statesville, NC with her husband David, and their two English Mastiffs, Sammy and Bernard.
